Refund policy
1. Booking and Payment:
1.1 To secure a booking, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total venue fee is required.
1.2 Full payment is due 1 month prior to the event date.
1.3 Payments can be made via EMT (email transfer), cheque or cash.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy:
2.1 Cancellations More Than Three (3) Months Prior to Event Date
If the Client cancels the Event more than three (3) months prior to the scheduled event date, the Client shall be entitled to a full store credit equal to the amount paid, valid for one (1) year from the date of cancellation. No cash refund shall be issued.
2.2 Cancellations Between One (1) Month and Three (3) Months Prior to Event Date
If the Client cancels the Event less than three (3) months but more than one (1) month prior to the scheduled event date, the Client shall receive a store credit equal to fifty percent (50%) of the total amount paid, valid for one (1) year from the date of cancellation. No cash refund shall be issued.
2.3 Cancellations Within One (1) Month of Event Date
If the Client cancels the Event within one (1) month of the scheduled event date, all fees paid shall be forfeited. No refund, store credit, rescheduling, or transfer of services shall be permitted.
2.4 Store Credit Conditions
Store credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, may not be redeemed for cash, and must be applied to services provided by Loft and Soiree within the validity period stated above. Any unused credit after the expiry date shall be forfeited.
2.5 In the event of cancellation, a non-refundable administrative fee of $100 will apply.
3. Event Details:
3.1 The client must provide accurate details regarding the event, including the number of guests, setup requirements, and any special requests.
3.2 Any changes to the event details must be communicated in writing at least 2 weeks prior to the event date.
3.3 Any extended hours will be deducted from the security deposit at a rate of $160 per hour.
3.4 Client responsible to bag out garbage from the event and leave no items and food behind (A convenient dumpster is located at the back of our plaza) Personal belongings, décor, center pieces, flowers, vinyl, wedding cake, etc. must be removed from the function rooms at the completion of the event. Loft and Soiree cannot assume responsibility for losses or damages and a charge of $200.00 will be levied for any refuse left behind after an event is completed (i.e.: rentals, florals, etc.)
3.5 Music & Sound Levels

Loud or excessive music is not permitted before 5:00 PM on weekends and before 8:00 PM on weekdays.

Normal background music is allowed at all times and must remain within the white-marked volume level on the in-house Bluetooth speaker.

DJs and outside speakers are not permitted during restricted hours.

4. Damage and Liability:
4.1 The client is responsible for any damage caused to the venue property or equipment during the event.
4.2 The venue is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to the client's property or the property of event attendees.
5. Insurance:
5.1 The client is advised to obtain event insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances.
6. Security and Safety:
6.1 The venue reserves the right to require security personnel based on the nature of the event.
6.2 The client is responsible for ensuring that the event complies with all applicable safety regulations.
7. Force Majeure:
7.1 The venue is not liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.
8. Termination:
8.1 The venue reserves the right to terminate the agreement if the client breaches any terms and conditions.
9. Alcohol and Catering
9.1 Alcohol Policy: Alcohol is permitted at the venue under the condition that the host of the party obtains the necessary Special Occasion Permits (SOP). Loft and Soirée neither sell nor serve alcohol. The premises strictly prohibit heavy alcohol consumption and any activities associated with unruly parties.
9.2 Catering Regulations: Catering services are allowed at the venue. However, cooking or any activities that pose a fire hazard are strictly prohibited on the premises.
10. Miscellaneous:
10.1 Any modifications to this agreement must be made in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
10.2 The terms and conditions outlined herein constitute the entire agreement between the parties.
